Exhibition booth design, trade fair strategy, and interior spaces.
Connecting businesses across Asia · Europe · Middle East · America.
My design path began in Korea — furniture and industrial design, fine arts — before I moved to Milan to study architectural engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, one of Europe's foremost universities of architecture and design. That intersection of artistic instinct and structural rigour has shaped everything I have built since.
I spent years at the heart of the European exhibition industry, designing and building trade fair booths across Korea, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Monte Carlo, the UK, Netherlands, and the UAE — in close partnership with Italian studio Areagrafica and the Superstudio Group in Milan.
A highlight of this period was a collaboration with Atelier Mendini (Alessandro Mendini) — one of Italy's most celebrated architects and designers — bridging conceptual vision with exhibition reality.
Now going independent, with Spain as my European base, I bring full-service expertise directly to clients who need a single trusted partner across language, culture, design, and logistics.
Full-service trade fair booths from concept to on-site installation. Space planning, creative direction, material sourcing, and construction management at major European and Middle Eastern venues.
Strategic guidance for Korean and Asian companies entering Europe or the UAE. Trade fair selection, booth strategy, brand localisation, and cultural communication — in Korean, Italian, and Spanish.
Corporate office interiors, cosmetics retail spaces, and showroom environments. Concept development, spatial planning, and coordination with local architectural and construction partners.
Studied furniture and industrial design alongside fine arts in Korea. Built a foundation in form, material, and visual thinking.
Returned to Korea and collaborated with architectural studios on cosmetics retail interiors, exhibition spaces, and residential projects.
Studied architectural engineering at the Politecnico di Milano — developing spatial and structural sensibility at the world's design capital. Collaborated with Atelier Mendini (Alessandro Mendini). During this period, won excellence awards and multiple prizes in national and international student design competitions.
Led interior design and planning projects including cosmetics exhibition spaces and apartment renovations — merging European spatial sensibility with Korean material precision.
Built and led an exhibition consultancy active across Korea, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Monte Carlo, the UK, Netherlands, and UAE. Partnered with Areagrafica and Superstudio Group.
Launching independent practice with Spain as the European base. Focused on exhibition design, European market entry, and interior spaces — bringing rare trilingual expertise across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Every project begins with technical drawings — load calculations, circulation flow, structural anchoring, services routing. CAD plans coordinated with venue authorities, fire-safety officers, and local contractors before a single panel is cut.
This is where European exhibition standards meet Korean attention to detail — the invisible layer that separates a booth that works from one that fails.
An original design concept exploring how cities accumulate history through physical layers.
Each work is a memorial of urban time — laser-cut aluminium panels stacked at varying depths (10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60mm), where every layer becomes a stratum of accumulated experience: war, prosperity, migration, silence, reconstruction.
Gold and cold light effects distinguish the emotional register of each city — Paris glows warm with Beaux-Arts memory; Seoul reads cold and metallic, the light of compressed modernity.
Aldo Rossi — The Architecture of the City (1966): the city as a repository of collective memory, where buildings persist as "permanent facts" through time.
Arnaldo Pomodoro — the Sphere within Sphere series: a polished surface fractured to reveal the broken, mechanical interior beneath — time eroding form from within.
Korean or Asian company planning a European trade fair? Need a designer who speaks the language — literally and culturally? Let's talk.
